Give your ears a break

Why do your ears need a break now and then? Because of the cilia (vibrating hairs) in your inner ear. These are continually processing sound because noise is constant and everywhere. If you are exposed to loud noise long-term, they can become overloaded. Once the hairs are damaged, they can no longer be repaired.

But… this can be prevented by – besides the other tips – taking a break from the music now and then. If you give your ears a 15-minute break every 2 hours during a music event, they have time to recuperate.
